The AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9 is one of the Aironet 1130 AG Series of Wi-Fi-certified 802.11g wireless access points. It provides high-capacity, high-security, enterprise-class features in an unobtrusive, office-class design.

Two radios with built-in omnidirectional antennas provide simultaneous support for 802.11a and 802.11g standards with backwards compatibility for legacy 802.11b clients. Multiple nonoverlapping channels minimize interference in congested airspace, simplifying the deployment of high-capacity networks.

The AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9 supports Lightweight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP). When it is operating as a lightweight AP, a WLAN controller is required.

The 1130AG Series meets the international Common Criteria (ISO 15408) standard for computer security.

The product is shipped with a universal power supply for connection to local power. Line power over Ethernet support requires the AIR-PWRINJ3 power injector or another inline power source.

The Cisco Aironet 1130AG Series can be configured using the console port when there is no Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server in the network or when there is no wired connection between the access point and the LAN. The AIR-CONCAB1200 console cable is required for connection to the console port.

The Cisco ASA 5505-SEC-K9 Security Appliance provides small and medium-sized companies with gateway security and virtual private network (VPN) connectivity.

The ASA 5505 includes an 8-port Fast Ethernet switch, stateful firewall, 25 IPsec VPN peers, 2 SSL VPN peers, Triple Data Encryption Standard Virtual Private Network/Advanced Encryption Standard (3DES/AES) license, 1 expansion slot, and an unlimited user license. It delivers up to 150 Mbps of firewall throughput and 100 Mbps of VPN throughput.

This product includes the Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM), a browser-based management and monitoring interface. This single solution provides comprehensive configuration and monitoring of all the services in a single application and provides wizards to guide administrators through initial and ongoing configuration tasks.

For VPN connections, Cisco Easy VPN Server and Cisco Easy VPN Remote simplify remote configuration and management.
