The Cisco PIX 506E Security Appliance delivers enterprise-class security for remote office/branch office environments in a robust, purpose-built appliance. Ideal for securing high-speed Internet connections, the Cisco PIX 506E Security Appliance delivers up to 100 Mbps of firewall throughput, 16 Mbps of Triple Data Encryption Standard Virtual Private Network (3DES VPN) throughput and 30 Mbps of Advanced Encryption Standard AES-128 VPN throughput in a cost-effective, high-performance solution.

The compact desktop chassis of the Cisco PIX 506E Security Appliance provides two autosensing Fast Ethernet (10/100) interfaces. This product includes the chassis, latest PIX software, 3DES/AES licenses, and AES encryption license.

Please note: The equipment shipped may be new or refurbished at Cisco's discretion.

Product service and support: Cisco will provide five years of hardware and software service and support ("SMARTnet") for any product or product bundle obtained through this donation program.
