Small Business Server 2003 User Client Add-On Pack (Includes Software Assurance and 5 CALs)

Small Business Server 2003 Premium Edition is a server solution designed to provide core network capabilities for smaller organizations. Systems running SBS 2003 require a Client Access License (CAL) for each device or user that connects to the system, to a maximum of 75. Two types of CAL are available: Device and User CALs can both be used on the same server. For easier management and tracking, Microsoft strongly recommends that you acquire either User CALs or Device CALs, not both.

The User CALs in this Add-On Pack allow access for one named user, regardless of the number of devices (e.g. workers who need access in the office as well as from home or mobile computers). This item does not include SBS 2003 software, which must be obtained separately.

Device CALs are a separate item, each allowing access for one device (such as desktop or mobile PC) regardless of the number of users (e.g. a shared workstation).
