Microsoft Operations Management 2005 Operations Management License (Includes Software Assurance)
Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 provides comprehensive event and performance management, proactive monitoring and alerting, reporting and trend analysis, and system- and application-specific knowledge and tasks to improve the manageability of Windows-based servers and applications.
An Operations Management License (OML) is required for each device managed by a MOM 2005 Server. A device can be a single server, personal computer, workstation, terminal, handheld computer, pager, telephone, personal digital assistant, or another electronic device.
Note: This license does not require media.
Under the Software Assurance program, customers acquire the right to install any new release of products covered in the agreement during the term of their coverage.
