Microsoft Extending Special Donation Request

Microsoft has extended the special donation offer for Windows 7, available through SANGOTeCH, until the end of June 2010. Originally set to expire at the end of January 2010, this special donation offer allows South African NGOs to place one additional order outside of their one-order-per-year allocation for orders which contain only Windows 7. The operating system is the only item allowed in your cart at checkout.

The SANGOTeCH programme is brought to South Africa by SANGONeT in partnership with TechSoup Global.

Here is how it works:

Organisations should first check their general eligibility for the programme. If your organisation fulfills these requirements, then check the specific eligibility requirements of our initial donor partners, Microsoft and Cisco. If you qualify for at least one of these, then register for the programme.

In addition to the information you supply online, you also need to fax us confirmation of your organisation’s Public Benefit Organisation status. The documentation should be faxed to: 086 685 9191.

We will confirm your organisation’s eligibility status within 5 working days of receipt of this documentation.

If you do not have Public Benefit Organisation status, and only supplied us with a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) number, we may require further documentation. SANGOTeCH’s customer support will contact you within 2 working days if this is necessary.

If your organisation meets the required eligibility criteria for at least one of our donating partners, confirmation will be e-mailed to your organisation’s registered e-mail address. It will contain a link to the SANGOTeCH logon page, and a description of the donor partner products for which you are eligible.
